Pekin Community Softball Association
The Pekin lettes will be transitioning in a different direction beginning with the 2017 softball season. As you are no doubt aware, there is an organization known as the Pekin Community Softball Association, (PCSA). In 2017, the Pekin Lettes will be the "crown jewel", or in other words the top level team in PCSA. This will allow all Pekin community softball teams to be connected under the same umbrella. In addition, obviously, there will also be players from outside Pekin who... will be invited to play on all the teams.
This new PCSA structure will allow players to move from the beginners level all the way to the women's level during their career. The new structure will also allow better players to play with the Lettes at an earlier age. The entire structure of PCSA will be under the guidance of the PCSA Board of Directors.
PCSA will have a float in the Marigold parade in September. I want to extend an invitation to all former lettes to be in the parade with PCSA. They will ride on the float, near the front of the parade, along with a banner. Could you put an invitation on the websites to all former players telling them they are invited? PCSA wants this to happen.
